History of Poltesco Walk

Step into Cornwall’s dramatic past with a guided walk to Poltesco, taking in the old Serpentine Works.

This walk will be led by volunteer walk leaders and offer the opportunity for anybody to learn a little about the history of Poltesco, spend time in nature and meet new people. Everyone is welcome, of all abilities and experience, and the walk leader will facilitate the walk to ensure everybody feels comfortable.

What to bring and wear
Please come in sturdy footwear and bring some waterproofs in case of showers.

Accessibility
The route follows sections along the South West Coast Path, including uneven ground, steep gradient, steps and a number of stiles. The walk can be muddy so please wear sturdy boots, trainers will not be suitable.
