However\, something rather eerie is afoot! \nBasil’s assistant Fred Herring is acting rather strangely and seems to be obsessed with the poisonous mercury in the glass lens. The ‘Housel Babes’ Shelly Fish and Iva Clam are teasy as ‘ell after finding love letters in bottles from the keeper. Visiting botanist Dr Foxglove is not only interested in the local Cornish fauna but also a bit of fauna-cating with the keeper’s wife! The keeper’s wife Barbara wants to leave him but not before she’s turned the lighthouse into a luxury holiday resort. Meanwhile Miss Merple wants to get her teeth into another case\, without losing them! But Police Constable Unstoppable is desperate for a big promotion and there’s something a bit fishy about his canapes. Teams must shake a musical instrument on their table when they spot a difference. The compere freezes the actors and points are given or deducted depending on if they are right or not. By the end\, the audience must guess the murderer and points are awarded. A prize goes to the table with the most points. It is hosted by a compere and all the rules are explained at the beginning and emphasised throughout. \nThe ‘Murder Twystery’ has been tried and tested with different plays across Cornwall but the producer asked Tamara Rosenwyn to create a Lizard based one using this format.  \nSuitability:\nLAFTA’s play features many hilarious Cornish jokes and local references\, there is suggestive content but no swearing. We think this play is most suitable for adults but children are welcome.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
