DESCRIPTION:This year marks Marconi’s 150th birthday and there will be a commemorative event\, open to all\, taking place at the wireless station on Saturday 27 April to celebrate.\n\nThe volunteers will be connecting with other radio amateurs around the world in the morning then from 2 – 4pm there will be a birthday bash for Marconi and the wireless station will be open to all for tea\, cake\, demonstrations and children’s activities.\n\nEveryone is welcome to enjoy the afternoon with the volunteer team\, celebrating Marconi and the technological discoveries he made which have paved the way towards the technology we use today.\n\nThe Lizard Wireless Station is approximately 20 minutes walk east along the South West Coast Path from the National Trustcar park at Lizard Point.

And why is her neighbour Janet suddenly calling herself Janet of the Granite (and not just because of her lovely set of boulders)? \nAs film flickers through the kitchen window\, we reminisce with Kenza on her childhood spent with her beloved late brother Bobby.
